With Gnoris, it is now easy to create a network connected personal file backup system in your home.
Gnoris enables you to securely and automatically backup photos, videos, documents and other files from your mobile
devices or PCs to a network attached computer behind your own firewall. It also allows you to view and access those files
from all of your devices. You can enable encryption of files using a passphrase for added security. The Gnoris Backup Manager
is a prudent complement to your online storage service providers, while providing added local redundancy, security and privacy.

Gnoris also allows for the management of certain types of local computer network attached cameras that are capable of
broadcasting video streams using the Real Time Streaming Protocol and redirect those streams into 24/7 recordings
on your designated storage drives. Gnoris' motion-detection algorithms can also detect and forward movement activated
notifications to your mobile device.

UPnP media broadcasting from your Gnoris Server allows you to view photos and videos on your UPnP enabled network
attached screens (e.g. TVs) or on Mobile Devices or PCs with applications like VLC or media clients.
